200 Attendees Discuss "Scheduling with an Altitude" in Beaver Creek Colorado

EMS Users' Conference Includes Educational Sessions, Vendor Presentations and Customer Showcases

DENVER -- Taking place at an elevation of nearly 9000 feet, Dean Evans & Associates (www.dea.com) aptly named “Scheduling with an Altitude” users’ conference brought 200 users of their Event Management System (EMS) software to the Beaver Creek mountain resort. Attendees from around the U.S. and abroad spent two days learning about ways to optimize the use of their EMS system, listening to “best practice” presentations by other EMS customers, meeting representatives from EMS business partner companies and networking with their peers.

“The conference was useful and productive in ways that I could not have imagined,” says Kelly Shaefer, assistant director of the DePaul University Student Center. “I now have ideas not only for how to improve the event planning process, but also on how to make work flow easier in the office, how to integrate service providers into the planning process, and most importantly, how to improve the overall experience for my end users – DePaul students and university departments.”

“The location for the conference was spectacular,” she adds. “It gave me a chance to relax and network with peers without the pressure that is sometimes felt in an urban environment.
