Record-Setting Attendance for 2007 EMS Users Conference in Breckenridge, Colorado

“Scheduling at its Peak” gathering promotes collaboration among staff and meeting/event scheduling professionals from wide range of industries

DENVER -- Event Management System (EMS) software users from around the U.S. and abroad traveled to the Town of Breckenridge, high in the Colorado Rockies, to attend Dean Evans & Associates' (www.dea.com) “Scheduling at its Peak” users conference recently at the Beaver Run Resort. The attendance (258) and altitude (9600 feet above sea level) were both records for the conference, now in its sixth year. Attendees spent three days learning about new scheduling and calendaring software features, watching facility management “best practice” presentations by other EMS customers, talking with representatives from EMS business partner companies and networking with their peers.

“I'm always amazed that after four years, I'm still learning something new in EMS,” says Ann Emmanuel from Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville. “And, as always, it's great to see how much your customers’ needs influence your product!”

When they weren’t attending educational sessions, participating in roundtable discussions or meeting with vendors, attendees had the chance to experience the best of summer in the Rocky Mountains. Hiking, biking, and chairlift rides to a mountain peak were just some of the activities that combined sightseeing with casual networking.

“I thought the conference was great,” says Susan Birdsell with global financial firm UBS. “I was able to learn some great tips and tricks and am quite eager to implement them. It was also nice to get together with my peers in the industry to discuss common challenges and to gain insight on different solutions.”
